Kinesiology Taping in Corsham
Improves pain and movement and assists in everyday activities.
What is Kinesiology Taping?
I am qualified in kinesiology taping and can offer this as part of your massage to support you after your massage or as a separate short treatment.
Kinesiology taping was developed in the 1970s by Japenese chiropractor Kenso Kase. It is a therapeutic technique that involves applying flexible, elastic tape to the skin to support muscles and joints.
You can often see colourful taping in action watching different sports because it can improve both pain, movement and can be applied to any region of the body. However you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from this.
I often see clients with tennis elbow, shoulder pain, back pain, knee pain and much more who find using tape supports their recovery and assists them in their everyday activities, with short and long term benefits without restricting their movement.
“Lizzie is so kind and caring and her treatments are always hugely beneficial.
I have tennis elbow and she is helping me manage the condition using massage and athlete tape. The tape stays on my arm for up to a week following treatment, it covers the trigger point and main area of discomfort.
I find the tape really helps to support my arm and alleviate the pain. I would recommend for anyone suffering from tennis elbow.” – Anna, Corsham

What my clients say
“I have been treated by Lizzie for some time now and she understands my body and what may be causing me a problem before I am even able to identify it myself.
Lizzie has also taped injuries I have sustained during running and/or kickboxing, including my knee and my wrist.
I found that the additional support helped me to recover quicker and her understanding of the impact of my injuries and what I can do to prevent them from being exacerbated in the future invaluable.” – C.F
