When I need to blow the cobwebs away in Bath this is what I like to do. What do you do? These are things I can do for free. Share your ideas via the comments below.
Need a new perspective….I run up to the top of Sion Hill and out of breath watch the hot air balloons take off from Victoria Park below and take in the view of Bath outstretched in front of me. No mountains in Bath…but it is a central city wonder!
Need to relax…Go to Somerset Lavender Farm and inhale….the scent of lavender is so relaxing. You immediately feel relaxed and refreshed. Just talking to the people who work there is evidence enough to show how lavender can help you relax!
Need some space…Walk around The Botanical Gardens in Victoria Park at any time of year is great for a lunch time break, to feel refreshed, to get some space, to see the beautiful plants as they blossom. Colour therapy!
Looking for some advice….I pop in to Neal’s Yard and have a little cup of their lovely herbal tea that can be great for hay fever, sore throats, energising, calming….always a suprise and then ask whoever is behind the counter for some pearls of wisdom on herbal health & beauty.
Need some inspiration…I go to Green Park Station on a Saturday morning and get inspired with the range of local foods, relishes, veggies (yummy wild mushrooms being sauteed to try makes me smile).
Need to refresh my palate…I go To The Tea Emporium and take the lids off the teas and inhale…coconuts, bergamot, licorice, coffee…..mmmmmm
There is so much more to add, but I will leave that up to you. What do you do in Bath or Salisbury to help get your vitality back? Post your ideas below, it would be great to hear from you.
